DR. ROBERT CARTER
Dr. Robert E. Carter, Jr. has over 40 years experience as a Pastor and counselor. Dr. Carter has a Doctorate in Christian Counseling, and is a graduate of Emerge Ministry’s Institute of Pastoral Counseling. He is a certified mediator and member of the National Mediation Association. As a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors his counseling is Biblically based and held to the highest Christian ethical standards. The Alabama District leadership has approved the Barnabas Ministries for their Ministers and their families.

Barnabas Ministries is partnering with the Alabama District Council of the Assemblies of God in several ways. Dr. Robert Carter has provided counseling for hurting ministers and their families. He has provided mediation for congregations where differences have arisen. He has provided restoration counseling for ministers who have been overtaken in a fault. He has served as a consultant for the district leadership when dealing with problems of conflict resolution. Several pastors and congregations have utilized his services to minister to hurting people with in their congregation. He has taught in District initiated conferences, and seminars.
